Cipla launches ‘Easylax L’, a sugar-free oral emulsion laxative for constipation relief The emulsion provides relief from constipation through the strength of Lactulose




Mumbai, India; June XX 2022: Cipla Limited (BSE: 500087; NSE: CIPLA EQ; and hereafter referred to as "Cipla") announced the launch of Easylax L, the latest addition to its range of offerings under the Easylax franchise, for relief from constipation. 


Cipla has previously launched Easylax (Milk of Magnesia & Liquid Paraffin) and Easylax Plus (Milk of Magnesia, Liquid Paraffin & Sodium Picosulfate). Cipla’s new Easylax L variant has 10 gm per 15ml of lactulose as its core ingredient, which helps water inflow into the colon for easy passing of stools.


Easylax L is sugar free and currently available in lemon flavour. The emulsion is available in quantities of 200 ml and 100 ml which is priced at INR 225 and INR 115 respectively. It is available across chemists and on e-pharmacy platforms in India.

About Easylax Range


Easylax is available across 4 SKUs for consumers at different stages of constipation. 


Easylax & Easylax Plus contains Milk of Magnesia (MOM). It helps in relieving constipation conditions like straining, hard stools, incomplete evacuations. Easylax comes in quantity of 170 ml in pineapple flavour and Easylax Plus is available in 170 ml quantity with a peppermint flavour.


Easylax L contains Lactulose & provides long relief from prolonged constipation. It is available in lemon flavour and in quantities of 100ml and 200ml.
